A delicious, very nutritious, fiber-rich breakfast that only sums up 5g net carbs.
- Flaxseed, ground, 30g (2 heaped tbsp)
- Cooking cream 35% fat, 100ml
- Cocoa powder, dark and unsweetened, 1 tsp
- Goji berries, 5g (1 tbsp)
- Freshly brewed coffee
- Liquid sweetener, a couple of drops
Mix the ground flaxseed and the cocoa with the cream until all flaxseed is thoroughly covered. Add a few drops of liquid sweetener if you like your breakfast on the sweeter side.
Add a little coffee, as the flaxseed will expand quite a lot - this is because flaxseed is very rich in fiber! If you don't have (or don't like) coffee, add 1-2 spoons of still water. Black tea or rooibos tea would also be good candidates to soften the flaxseed.
Decorate with the goji berries and... good appetite!
