A fun, simple, and delicious recipe that is filling and very versatile. 1.75g net carbs per serving of 3 canapes – totally keto-friendly!


  • Eggs, whole, 6
  • Créme fraîche, 100ml
  • Gorgonzola cheese, 50g
  • Mustard, hot, 1 tbsp
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Cilantro leaves, fresh


Step 1

Hard boil the eggs.

Step 2

Clean the eggs and cut them in half, along their length. Remove the yolks with a teaspoon.

Step 3

In a small mixing bowl, mix the yolks with a little Cayenne peper (to your taste), the Gorgonzola, the créme fraîche, mustard, and finely chopped cilantro leaves. Blend until you obtain a paste that it not very smooth and still shows bits of the cheese.

Step 4

Fill the egg halves with the mix, using a teaspoon, re-building their original whole egg shape. Chill for at least a couple of hours.

Step 5

Serve on a platter, on lettuce leaves. A serving includes 3 eggs. Decorate with fresh cilantro and serve with extra small cubes of Gorgonzola.
